57th Annual Humanitarian Awards

For over half a century Harmony has honored Kansas Citians whose personal and professional relationships have proven to strenghthen the bonds of our community, crafting connections that span historic divisions of race, religion, ethnicity, class and sexual orientation. These Harmony Humanitarians lead the way in building inclusive community.

This year's Harmony Humanitarians, Janet Justus, Sister Vickie Perkins, and Debby and Gary Ballard, continue a legacy of inclusive leadership worthy of recognition and award.

In 2009, Harmony established the Hoffman Legacy Award, in honor of Kansas City families who, for generations, diligently built a more inclusive community through deed and example.
This year's Hoffman Legacy Award recipient is R. Crosby Kemper, III.
